Beaches and Coves of Alicante, El Campello and Villajoyosa

Description

Departure along the coast road towards the town of El Campello in the historic region of Huerta de Alicante. With its picturesque promenade bathed by the Mediterranean, the small port, and the archaeological remains known as "Baños de la Reina" (Queen's Baths). Located on a small peninsula at the foot of the Vigía Tower, these are undoubtedly some of the most important archaeological sites in the Mediterranean. These lands were separated from the coast by an earthquake on an unknown date, and in the 1930s they were artificially rejoined to the land. We will continue to the fishing town of Villajoyosa in the Marina Baja region, its capital, with its picturesque colorful houses. Return to Alicante.
